Kings County Concert Band (KCCB) is an all volunteer wind ensemble that believes in lifelong music making regardless of entry point. We cater specifically to novice/intermediate instrumentalists who wish to improve their current command of woodwind, brass or percussion instruments and also to advanced instrumentalists who wish to expand their overall musical vocabulary through study of secondary instruments. We explore both standard and emerging wind band repertoire and support commissions of intermediate level works for the wind band. We rehearse regularly to encourage musical growth through performance and also to develop a musical community for our members on and off stage.

About Us

It is our hope to provide community musicians an artistic venue regardless of entry point or musical lapse.  In addition to developing the musicianship of our members, we are excited to provided experienced musicians a place specifically to develop their skills on secondary instruments. With our membership being comprised of a wonderful mix of musical experiences and backgrounds,  we are excited about the musical collaborations that lay ahead. KCCB recognizes that all musicians have artistic potential and hopes to develop that potential for those who join our ensemble.
